Appeared on FM Yokohama 84.7 “Sound Art Wave”

The founder of Tsugu Tsugu, Yuki Matano, appeared on FM Yokohama 84.7’s “Sound Art Wave” on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. and talked about the charms of kintsugi!

Program name: SUZUKI SEINA Sound Art Wave

【Broadcasting station】FM YOKOHAMA

【Broadcast time】19:30~20:00 every Saturday

【Personality】 Sena Suzuki

This is a 30-minute program focusing on art. There is a corner where artistic spots are introduced, Sena Suzuki tries her hand at artistic recitation, and Sena Suzuki appraises listeners’ artistic photos. This time, our founder, Ms. Matano, was asked as an “artistic guest” to answer the question, “What is kintsugi?” She talked about the charm of kintsugi, its popularity overseas, and how to perform kintsugi.

Sena Suzuki, who was a easy-to-understand facilitator, asked questions that kintsugi beginners would like to know, and we had a good time talking with her. The word “traditional” may sound intimidating, but Seina’s talk went from familiar topics such as Kylo Ren wearing a kintsugi mask in a Star Wars movie a few years ago, to a more in-depth discussion of kintsugi. We hope you will feel more familiar with kintsugi.

We will continue to actively participate in media coverage of kintsugi, and we look forward to your continued support as we continue to spread the word about kintsugi.
